Charlie hadn't noticed anything unusual about the number of deliveries coming to and from the florists. She wasn't privy to that part of the business. Tonight she just happened to be the only one available to handle the pick up.
At first she hadn't immediately made the connection between Nilean and the florists. It had been a couple of weeks and the vampire had been far from her mind. It wasn't until she arrived at the location and saw her through the window that it hit her.
Even though Nilean had been rather kind, for a vampire, she was still a vampire. And vampires still made Charlie very uncomfortable. At least she sort of new Nilean. With a deep breath Charlie unhooked her helmet, fluffed her hair, and walked into the store with a smile.
"Hey, Nilean. I'm good. Yourself?"
