From the street Hotel Dusk looks almost ordinary, but in the same sense grand, the sand-coloured brick building standing three floors high, white stone steps leading up to the entrance. The front doors open into the lobby area, with the floors beyond comprising of its many guest rooms and disguising from onlookers the fact of its 1914 construction and the century old Belle vampire that claims her private residences within as its owner.
For the ease of guests the hotel is comfortably located on the very edge of the inner city, close to the central precinct with everything imaginable that Seattle has to offer, any and every club, café, restaurant or store one might want to visit, whether for the purpose of business or pleasure. The various rooms are set up to cater for clientele with all types of budget, from the most basic standard design of a hotel room, to an interconnected suite for the visiting vampire and his servant; joined rooms, one of which is blacked out for the undead resident, the other free to enjoy the view and the sunlight.
Walking up the steps and across the small balcony bordered by brick pillars, the doors open up into a chic and comfortable lobby. The reception desk
sits to the right as you enter, but the main feature is the fireplace recessed into the bookshelf-cum-wall opposite, a sofa and separate table and chairs set before it, there to be used for a needed break, a spot to wait, or somewhere to connect with friends.
Another lounge area is set up as a mezzanine floor loft above the lobby, reached by climbing a small flight of stairs, a second place to meet casually, or maybe read the daily news. At the bottom of the loft staircase a small alcove contains the elevator to ascend the short distance to the two storeys of accommodation above.Guest Rooms

Access into the rooms is by electronic swipe card, received when you check in at reception on arrival, and a cleaner goes through every day to do the housekeeping; making the bed, replacing towels, and generally straightening things up unless specifically asked not to.
